I say its cause the background doesnt really match what it is. You should probably have one side of harvy be light while his other dark and grim.

Maybe you should try grundge brushes. They help you out when creating backgrounds and such.

Though you can't notice it at all cause of the effects I put in, my Joker sig's background was made of grunge brushes. The blur and stuff, however, removed it so you cant seem em.

yeah. Just mess around by using different grunge brushes and splattering them everywhere on your picture. Something good will eventually come up. Thats how I learned how to use Grunge brushes more effectively.
