My dad locked the computer so the only the administrator (him) can install programs.

Seriously, thats like the best thing about Hunters. The Monster Taming is stupid and most other skills suck, but the traps make up for them COMPLETELY.

I do. It helps keep the monsters you are fighting away. However, its useless cause the monsters just ignore the tamed monster and attack you.
